Oodles of Noodles

A parent in the playgroup offered to host a messy play date in her home. She is very daring! She cooked a ton of noodles and put them in a standing sand box in her kitchen. She added utensils and other toys for the kids. What a sensory experience for the children... and what a mess! Lane ate more than her weight in noodles!!

Foamy Fun Playdate

I added a messy play date to the play group calendar and envisioned children creating shaving cream castles on the picnic tables after playing on the playground equipment. It didn't quite end up that way. The kids were covered in shaving cream from head to toe! It was far more exciting than my original vision. Children's creativity never ceases to amaze me.
