Lane's style sense

Miss Laney is getting particular about what she wears. I'm not sure if she has developed good fashion sense yet but she definitely has her own opinions. Today she wants to wear her brother Gabriel's coat. It almost touched the ground when she walks. Along with the red coat, she thinks Alex's blue boots look lovely.
Lane has also figured out how to undress herself if the clothing is loose enough. It adds for an interesting evening on these cold winter nights especially since she refuses to use a blanket.

Valentines Day 2011

On Feb. 10th, we completed Alex's Valentine's box for his PreK party. He was very excited about his creation.
On the mornings of Feb. 12 and 13, all five of us sat at the kitchen table making Valentines. The boys made Valentines for their teachers and signed each of their Valentines for their classmates. They helped fill the bags and staple the card to the bag. They were very excited to celebrate the holiday.
I received the best gift I've received in a while from Andrew. A box of Godiva chocolates and the movie Blind Side. It wasn't as extravagant as some gifts I've received from him. However, along with the movie came the promise that we will adopt our fourth child in the future. I am giddy. I think my mug of the three kids photos pales in comparison.

Super Bowl Champs!

We made lots of junk food and hung out at home to watch the Super Bowl together. (We had planned on making Valentines with friends but fevers and cough prevented that activity) Laney wore her cutie pie Packer bow with her cheerleading outfit while the boys sported their jerseys. Gabriel was very upset when his jersey got dirty later in the day. He insisted on wearing Andrew's tshirt!
Alexander told us that Christina was a pretty mommy. Shortly after the game started, Gabriel asked us who won the game. Apparently the build up was enough for him after a few minutes. Alex asked me how to make my "guacaRole."

There was a lot of dancing and cheering as the Packers won. It's Monday and the happiness continues in our home. I think I'm raising a few football fans in this home!
